Soursop is a tropical fruit that's part of the Annonaceae family, which includes over 2,300 species. It's grown in tropical and subtropical areas, such as Southeast Asia, South America, and Africa

Soursop powder, has many potential health benefits, including:

Soursop Coconut Lime Bars:


Ingredients:

For the Crust:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

For the Filling:
- 4 table spoons of Soursop powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Zest of 1 lime

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, mix the ingredients for the crust until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
3. In a blender, combine the soursop powder, granulated sugar, lime juice, coconut milk, eggs, flour, baking powder, and lime zest. Blend until smooth.
4. Pour the soursop mixture over the crust in the baking pan.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30–35 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is lightly golden.
6. Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting into squares.

This unique soursop dessert offers a delightful chance to experience the tropical flavour of soursop in a creative and delicious way.


Storing Soursop fruit powder

Soursop fruit extract powder can be stored up to a period of 6 months from the point of purchase. For best usage of the powder it is seen to be stored in a dark area like a cupboard at room temperature.
